It fixes both of them if you remove both. At first I was trying to modify the top one seeing as how the reported problem concerned the lower box. I found the format on 2 tables.
I just wanted to add that Access automatically inserted the @ format in the table when I created the table but I'm glad you found the problem. Thanks again.
For future info the @ can be used to add colour formatting to listboxes and combos overwriting other formatting you have applied.

In your case, because no colour was specified, it applied the default... Black
