    Crosstab Query / Split Database

Thanks in advance for any help. I have a small Project Tracking database that will be used in two different locations. The main location is where I work, the other location that we need to share this data with is about 125 miles away. To start with they have decided to E-mail the data from my location to the other location. What I was going to do was split the database and copy both the front and back end to the computer at the other location. Then e-mail the data to the other location whenever they change the project data.
The program has a crosstab query in it.
Question 1; can you split a database that has a crosstab query.
Question 2; is there another way to do this.
I know this is not a good way to do this and we are working on setting a more permanent solution for this application.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    KSmith

So, you are not connecting two sites through internet or some other way, they are two isolated sites, right?

I am not sure if you mean a crosstab query in Access or something else, a crosstab query is a query, it should affect any spliting.

another way besides of updating data through email is connect to sites together by internet or private net, so that they will become one site and use the same back_end_ database.

Thanks weekend00 for the reply. Eventually we will join the two sites via the internet. What I was trying to do until we join via the internet was to try this approach.
When I try to split the database I get a “Subscript out of range” error. The only thing different about this program and others that I have made is the crosstab query, the crosstab query is in access.
This application is written in Access 2010.
    Again thanks for the reply,
    KSmith
