    I don't know where the width of 3304111 comes from - it is well beyond the maximum width of a column - are you sure it is not 330.4111?

    I would check the default width in File>Options>Datasheet (which is specified in cm or inches depending on settings - the width you see in the column heading is twips 1cm=567 twips or 1 inch=1440 twips), it may be that has been over specified in some way - the default width is normally 2.5cm or 1 inch.
