    Form and Report Format

In the creation of forms and reports the values shown should clearly be only to two decimal places.

However, should all values be preceded with a dollar sign? If so how is this done?

I also note that in Lessons 23 and 24 the tax rate is to four decimal places. Thus anything
multiplied by the tax rate (say to get the tax amount) is now in four decimal places which is
    , of course, silly.

    here are my two questions:

1 Should we place a dollar sign in front of each monetary value. If so how do we do it?

    2. Since we should restrict the number of decimal places to two and if so how do we do it?

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Respectfully,

    1. I don't, except maybe in a report - use textbox formatting - displaying monetary symbol is personal choice - do it if you want to

    2. do you want to save value rounded to 2 decimals - requires code, otherwise just set textbox Format and DecimalPlaces properties
