    Missing Table in Tutorial

At the end of the Lesson 19 tutorial there is a statement that says:

Open Customers table in Design View and change its columns as follows:

The problem is that there is no Customers table for the Yugo National Bank1 MS Access 2010
database. There are AccountTypes, TransactionTypes, ChargeReasons tables but no Customers table.

This make it impossible to complete the tutorial. Is this a typo?

The tutorial Lesson is shown here:

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Respectfully,

Within the Ribbon, under the Create tab, you can build a new table using the "Table Design" button.

That is true. I have done that before. However, I will not be able to populate it with customers with the same data.

I simply do not know the data that would go in the Customers table. It we were to use that data, I am sunk.

    Can this still work?

I am not familiar with these tutorials. However, it has been my experience that samples will come with multiple support files. In other words, there may be another DB that has what you are looking for. Multiple support files are offered to support different techniques, technologies, or approaches to a problem. I would look in other tutorials or even the same tutorial for additional files and try to locate a Customers table within one of those files.

I have finished the Customers form. As instructed in the Lesson 19. See link above. The customers form is much
longer than any of the other forms. It has eleven entries horizontally across the form.

I see all of them in design view, but not in form view. The bottom half is cut off. It is like the bottom half turned invisible or went behind something.

I can see it, if I use the scroll bars (BTW how did they get there!) on the right side of the form.

I would rather see the whole from and drop the scroll bars. The top should not be scrolling and the bottom half empty.

    How can I fix this?

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Okay, by moving things around I got it to show all of the form for customers.

But, only if one is using the side scroll bar. there is no other way that I can see.

I know this maybe trivial to some, but it is not to me.

Is there a different way to get a form to show on one page without the scroll bars.

    How do I format it?

Exactly where in this lesson is that instruction?

Reduce sizes of controls. Reduce spacing between controls. Organize controls on Tab control.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
