Access 2000 - getting error message related to a macro but I did not intend to do any

While trying to get my form to work, I clicked on Macro Builder and Code Builder. I must have done something because whenever I open the form I get a message box with the following message. When I click ok, all is well. Can I get rid of this message?

If " is a new macro or macro group, make sure you have saved it and that you have typed its name correctly.

In the property of whatever you clicked on...
remove the EVENT that is filled in ,delete the word: [Event Procedure]

I think the text you want to delete from within the Event Property, found within the property sheet for that control, is "[Embedded Macro]"

Thank you. I could not find these words in the property sheet but did find "[Event Procedure]" which I deleted. It did not have any effect.

This error always (in my experience) means that you have had something typed in one of the property boxed, in the property pane, have deleted it, but didn't quite erase everything, in this case leaving a single Period in the box. The problem is that a single Period in a property box is, at least to me, almost invisible. But when you find the correct property box and hold down the <Shift> key and use the <Right Arrow> to highlight, then hit <Del> the problem will go away. Having that single Period in the property box makes Access think that it is the name of a Macro, and it cannot find said Macro.

Good point Linq. There may not be much text at all in a property. I imagine it could even be on another line, within the field. Sometimes when I want to select all of the text, I use the right click on my mouse. Seems to work in newer versions of Access where before I would use Right Click>Zoom to get all of the text highlighted.

Thank you. I found it. I clicked on "zoom" for "on click" and the line was highlighted (not so when I clicked on other property) so I pressed backspace and it was changed.
