    Autofill data using combo box

    Hi All,

I realise how to create a combo box to autfill linked fields on a form, for instance create form based on table fields, build combobox use the wizard to select 'Find record on my form to fill records, based on a value etc. etc.'.
But I would like to know how to do this through coding.

    Thanks in advance,

    LJ

Isn't the wizard building the code (probably embedded macro)? Try converting the macro to VBA if it is VBA you want. That will give some VBA to explore.

There are lots of web sources for VBA tutorials and examples of using VBA to filter form. Here is a recent thread as example: https://www.accessforums.net/forms/c...-no-36495.html
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
