Combo Box Filter Not working in View mode.

I have a standard combobox filter that filters a forms records based on the name that is selected in it.

The form can be opened in Add, Edit and View mode.

The combobox filter does not work in View mode though - is there any way to fix this?

I simply used macros to open form in add, edit and view mode (read only) mode.

The filter does not work in view mode. Don't know why. There is no code.

I don't use macros, so maybe someone who does will respond.
    Good luck

Is it bad to use macros? Do you think if I use code it would work?

No, I don't think it is a question of using macros or not.
Many of us have developed using vba/code. And for those that do use code, you can post snippets of code to show others/ find errors/ other methods etc. You don't see people posting macros to show their technique.

You can use whatever works for you.
Perhaps some using 2007 could look at your accdb and offer some help.

    I have 2003 and can't open accdb.
