Problem with Form design

Tried to change a form after entering Design Mode. 2 Ribbon buttons Add Existing Fields and Property Sheet do nothing when pressed. Checked several of my databases and found the issue happens everywhere. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I'm unable to make needed changes until this is resolved. I have an Office 365 subscription.

2 Ribbon buttons Add Existing Fields and Property Sheet do nothing when pressed

When you click Add Existing Fields, you should see a list of available fields. You then drag the required fields onto the form
If the list is empty (or unavailable) you have an unbound form with no record source

When you click on Property Sheet, that should appear on the right side of your screen. Does it? If so, make any changes required.
If you can't see it, the property sheet may be minimized or off-screen

If it happens with all databases, an Office repair may be needed to fix the issue

I completely understand the operation of these 2 buttons...Guess I'm going to have to get an office repair. Thanks for the input.
