Form Background Color Disappears On Load

When I click my linked ID number to open a form, the form opens properly but the background color and most text does not appear. The moment I begin to resize the form the color and text are restored. How can I get the background color to load properly when I open the form?

In Access, do a compact/Repair. Then re-boot your computer.

Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunatley, I tried this and it did not solve the problem.

To clarify - I open the form and it opens with no background color and most text is invisible. The forum clearly looks bugged. The moment I resize the window, even by one pixel, the form permanently fixes itself - returning the text visibility and background color. As soon as I close the form and reopen, the problem happens again.

Do you have any events coded for the form object - macros or VB?

Yes I have the IDClickmacro set "On Click" which opens the form. This is the sames as the Issue Tracking template that comes with 2010 Access.

The only change I made was Window Mode: Dialog -> Normal

I made the change you mentioned and cannot replicate the problem, as you can see:

This type of thing comes under what I call Strange, Odd and Curious Behavior, and S/O/C/B, especially when coupled with the fact that doing anything to the Form corrects the problem suggests corruption, in one form or another.

In this case it's probably corruption of the Form, or possibly, corruption of the entire app!

The first and easiest thing to attempt, for corruption, is to create a new, blank file and import everything into it. Only takes a minute or two to create and check out, and if it doesn't work you haven't really lost anything! And, amazingly, it does frequently work!
