    split database on web

I was wondering if it was possible to split a database and have the backend on a website of some sort, so each time a Front end is opened it reads from the internet and not something like a sharepoint. is this possible? would it speed things up a bit? thanks for any help you may have!!!

Open the front end Access file? No, don't think so. I think would need something like ASP or Cold Fusion, some web programming software that can interact with database.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
