Delete Rows with Same ID and Due Date??

Hello i have a table that looks like picture below. I want to create a delete query that deletes all rows that have duplicate Channel ID's with the same DueDate, and only keep the first one with the most recent Date Requested.

ex: all rows of 012GP will be deleted except for the one that has a date requested of 2/7/2012 bc its more recent than the one below it.

I cannot use delete duplicate query wizard bc i dont have access to it in my version of access. is there a way to do this using delete query? thanks!Click image for larger version.

perhaps something along the lines of delete where count [duedate] and count [channel id] >1
