Query on rooming list

Dear all



I would like to query a rooming list in which I have people sharing the room.

We make[Field] as ID, Name, room

ID 2001 Eric - 1
ID2089 Erica - 1.1

ID3450 bertha - 2
ID2345 Victor - 2.1

So, *.1 representing as a share person.

How can I query all room pairing ?

What does the table look like? Is that one field? What is the data type of the field?

If it is one text field you can use in the criteria:
Like "*.*"

People
Rooms
PeopleInRoom

People---->PeopleInRoom<-----Room

Please find the structure but have no idea why can not no decimal show in the room code where i want to pair

I want to use queries and select by the Hotel names

then,

ID - Name- 1.1 " "Name -1.2 etc

Forget queries for the moment.
You have People, Room, RoomType,PMCode, Hotel,...
You need to sort out what you really want to know/record, then describe this in simple English so you can identify the rules and relationships.

You have to create a data structure that supports your business/requirement. You don't start with a query. You need to do the analysis of your issue, then design, then develop the database...
