Access through OneDrive

Hey guys,

I have the family plan through microsoft 365 and have a single small macro that I added to my database. Problem is that when I share it through onedrive it will not allow the macro. I even bought my wife a new computer and it still wont work after adding the setting to enable all macros as stated through microsoft as a fix. I also had the issue even though i created it but the enable all macros thing worked fine for me but not for her. She is only accessing through the share feature through onedrive. I will need to, eventually, give the database to other people other than my wife so I really need this fixed.

Any suggestions?

access can only be used on Local drive (not cloud based).
sharing it on the cloud drive can result on corruption of the database.

Didn't know that and thanks for the answer but she downloads it and has the database local on her comp after that. I cannot enact macros after unless i copy cut and paste it in. Since it is local at that point can't I just have it be enabled through settings?

When you say "macro" you do mean macro code, not VBA? If that is the case, then try VBA instead of macro.

after you Download the database, you need to Unblock it first.
right-click on the downloaded db, and on it's Property, check Unblock.
then macro will be enabled when you Enable the macro (if ever you see
yellow-band warning msg when you open the db).
