Basic Access 2010 help - Newbie Beware

Hi yall - a newby utilizing Access 2010 for the first time. My problem is that I have daily maintenance Excel files that have the status of about 300 peices of equipment. I want to import this data into Access for database management.

Each excel file is like this :

Date - SN - Status - Model Name - Location.

What would be the best way to import into the database or is there a template I could utilize to start me off? Any help would be grateful.

Try the Import/Export wizard for a start.

    VBA methods involve:

    1. TransferSpreadsheet method

    2. opening Excel object and manipulating the object
