Completing a record in a form and rebuilding a new record with a new task date

I am a novice at this, basically self taught with rudimentary skills. I have built a database listing sanitation tasks that must be done, daily, weekly, monthly, etc. I have a yes/no field designating the job is complete. How can I generate a new record showing the same task again with a new due date based on the frequency of the task? I would appreciate any help anybody amy give. I must save all completed records for inspection purposes.

Need code in some event, maybe a button Click or the AfterUpdate event of the yes/no control on a form.

The code could execute and sql INSERT statement.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
