Seaching for files question

I have a field with a PO number.

I want to search a file directory for a pdf file with a name that contains that PO number.

I have been reading articles about recursive file searches, but they are a little over my head.

Trying to understand recursives can twist the brain a bit. Maybe shouldn't try to understand, just use it.

However, if you know the exact folder to search, recursive should not be needed.
