Form: filtering a combobox based on a multilist combobox from another table

    Hi all,

I'm new to creating in Access, but am an advanced Excel user and wanting to make something more user friendly.

I have created a table ("Categories") with a list of Categories, each category has selected (multilist) several sub categories like "General", "Specialist","TypeA","TypeB".

In creating a new customer form, I would like to be able to select the Category from one drop box, and then select the appropriate SubCategory from the ones that were selected in the "Categories" table.

So if CategoryA only had "General", and "TypeB" selected, then in the form if you select that Category you only get those two options.

Any help would be much appreciated.
