    Access 2003 subform linking problem

I have a Access 2003 database that I have recently been trying to enhance. I now have tabbed subforms.

    I am getting an error

"The linkmasterfields property setting has produced this error: 'object or class does not support set of events' ".

I can enter data in the subforms and it posts to the tables but will not recall upon opening the main form. Looking at the tables themselves the linking field "case#" is not updating to contain the master table generated "case #". Five books on Access and three other forums offer no clue as to how to fix this.

The MainForm needs to have a field in the RecordSource that forms a relationship with a field in the SubForm RecordSource. These fields should be pointed to in the LinkChild/masterFields properties of the SubFormControl. If they already do that then import your db into a new fresh db and see if the problem follows: http://www.btabdevelopment.com/ts/impnew
