Smile Duplicate last record to next record in form

    Hi every one:
I need my form to duplicate the last record inserted to the next record when next button is clicked.
Can somebody give me a hand on this?
    Thank you.

The button wizard can do that I think, plus there are a couple of methods here (simpler one via link):

    Question Button Wizard

    Thanks for your reply:

I've tried the button wizard and created the button. But when I try to use it it returns the following error:

The 'Copy' RunCommand cannot be run in disable mode.

    Any idea.

    Thanks

    Help please :-(

    Hi everyone:
I was hoping that this was going to be easy, but I’m pretty lost on this one.
Basically I have a form for items in a shop. It’s a resale shop. So people come in the shop sometimes with 25 DVD’s. It is very much time consuming to have to retype the same fields all the time for each DVD, knowing that from all the fields in the form only the “item description field and the “Ref” field is going to be different.
I have a “New Item” button which is basically a new record command.
How can make this form copy the previous record desired fields, to the new record after clicking the “New Item” button.
I am really desperate on this one; I can’t get it to work.
    Thanks for your help...

Your problem from post 3 is that in 2007, for code to run, the db either has to be in a trusted location (in Access Options) or code has been explicitly enabled (there should be an option on the toolbar below the ribbon).
