Renaming Fields on Table or Query

If you change the name of a field on your table or a query, will this mess up any forms, or reports that you have based around the data?

yes, you need to change all the name whereever this field name is used, forms, reports, queries, modules, even the objects in other database which have linked tables to this table.

the good news is: you can find out which objects are depended on a table/query by checking "Object dependencies"

I'll just leave them named as is. I just wasn't thinking when I was naming them from the start that lengthy descriptive names will take up a lot of space on a query, and that you have to display the entire name to know which one it is! Oh well, ya live ya learn!
