    Database Form Input Masks

    Hey guys,

I'm making a database form for a user in the company who has to do one thing with the information there. She needs to put in two times, and it will automatically calculate the number of minutes between the two times and insert it in the next column.

Here are the two problems I am facing.

    1) The input mask I have set for the the input columns are both SHORT TIME masks. When you type the times in, it shows up perfectly (12:30), but when you tab out, it would change to a long time (12:30:00 PM). I need to make it stay the same.

    2) Let's say a user makes a mistake, and needs to change it. When you go to change the time, the calculation doesn't change when you tab out. I need to make it so it changes for sure.

I'm sure information/code will be needed to help me out, but I'm not sure what to post. (I'm still VERY new to access)
