Hello all,
I'm a Network Admin for Customers First Tax Service in Florence, SC. Recently, we've come across a problem noticing that we've had a number of "miscounted drawers" and I've been assigned with writing a DB that calculates their drawers including checks and such as well as account balancing which is to be added in the future. The DB is constructed with 4 tables and one query to run calculations called "Math". I've got also 3 forms that are used and have their own queries which are variations of "Math" in which the SQL code creates the relationships.
The tables are join on an autonumber called "Record Number" that was inserted after having a former "Reference Number" as a Primary Key as well as "Batch Number" in the distant past as a Primary Key. Record Number is now my PK since I'm wanting to deploy this to all 19 locations via SharePoint.
You may ask why I decided to create an autonumber, well, SharePoint will not accept a PK that is not in the autonumber format. So I've made the changes and inserted an autonumber and have found that when a user opens up the "BillPay Closeout Form", the information they entered isn't available when they move on to the "Adjustments" form. However, if you look at the BillPay table itself, the information is there. Just not in the other linked tables.
Any ideas what's going on?
I've also provided a link to our website to download the file itself.
