    splitting databases

I have a database in which a particular table is getting rather large and was thinking about moving into a separate database. The only problem is, this table is linked to many other tables in the original database. Is this possible?

How large is "rather large"? How many records? In the database that holds this rather large table are there forms, reports, queries etc.?

No problem. Glad you worked out a solution. For the benefit of others on the forum. Could you post a summary of your fix?
