cannot pull the correct record

Hi!

I want to run a report.

I have to put in the patient no. in the form and when I click the "cmdParentInitialLetter" it is supposed to pull the report based on the patient number given. Rather it is asking again to put the patient number and the report runs.

Can anyone, let me know, where am I going wrong? I have attached the code also.

this happens for any number of reasons. it usually means the report can't find the field that's referenced in the popup. check the report for invalid controls, check the source. the problem can also be in the code behind the form. the popup is in error with one or the other objects.
