    Database of Maths Questions

I am trying to create a database of mathematics questions.
I use MathType-6 for typing the mathematical symbols in MS Word.
When I copy the questions from my word document and paste into the table column of MS Access (data-type : memo), only words get pasted and the symbol vanishes.

I tried to store the same in the form of OLE but it does not help.
    What should I do?

what symbols? give an example? special symbols will probably never transfer over, because they're not Unicode (I think that's right). There's a difference between ASCII and Unicode, but I'm not really sure what it is, nor have I completely understood the difference in the two concepts.

they're probably special symbols though. =,-,+,etc... should transfer over with a copy/paste with no problems.

    Type-6 objects in Access

I am also trying to use type-6 math calculations in an Access database of algebra math problems. Type-6 allows you to create math equations. The attachement has a graphic display of two Algebra math examples. The Type-6 equation can be saved in doc & .rtf format, but it does not allow copy and paste into the database.

Any suggestions for getting the equation into a field in the database?
