zoom in for a closer in design view

Is there a way to zoom in for a closer view so I can do better aligning of fields?

Not sure about 2007, but this might help you:

One thing that I use to align fields in 2003 design view is grab the edge of a field and then use the ruler bar along the top, it goes black to show the footprint of the field. Very easy to align many objects by setting them all to 2.2, for example.

I have been drawing red lines both horizontal and vertical. Then deleting then when everything is in place. I will try your way.

you can select a group of objects, in the right click menu, there is ALIGN function.

the inconvenient thing is Access doesn't allow to select/unselect an object by CTRL_click like windows file manager.

Oh, shoot. I just found out that we can select/unselect an object by shift_click in Access.
