    Why can't I use Dim dbs as database


    I am trying to follow using the making of a recordset from a query, but I need to set up the database variable "As database"; however, my system doesn't have Database in the dropdown box.

    I am using Access 2007 with XP.

    Have you included the DAO library in your references?
