    how to calculate Percent in an update query?

    How do I calculate percent in an update query and where do I put it?

    that's pretty vague. do you have anything else to add? like, what numbers are going to make up the calc?

    It was just a general question as nothing I used worked.
    =[grade11]/[totalcount] Gave me an error. I am not sure where to put it.

    take away the equal sign "=".
