    Locking Down Form

I have a database that I designed, and multiple users are going to be checking a tickbox on this database. What I am wanting to do, is have them only be able to search through the records, check the tickbox, or run the query off of the tickbox. I do not want them to be able to, delete records, add a new record or anything else. I have locked all fields on the form, except the tick box, and I changed all options taking away options under the Tools and Startup menu, but when Access is opened it still gives the option to delete record. Is there a way to disable the Microsoft Access Menu at the top of the page, but still have it there if you hit shft+enter and open the database like normal?

I am running access 2000 while at work working on this project but 2007 at home, so it is a little difficult for me to figure this out!

Have you already unchecked all of the boxes in the Startup form?

Go to file window icon >Option > Current Database > remove check mark at Allow Full Menu , Allow Default Short Cut Menu , Display Nevigation Pane, This will dim the delete record option.
I had checked on my DB at 2010 version. I do not know about it,s validity at 2000 version.

Hey that worked! I also used,
To remove a menu bar, follow these steps:
    1. Open the form for which you want to remove a menu bar, and on the View menu, click Design View.
    2. If the property sheet is not already visible, click Properties on the View menu.
    3. In the property sheet of the form, click the Other tab.
    4. In the MenuBar property box, type =1.
    5. On the View menu, click Form View.

To hide the Windows Toolbar in Access!! Works great, thanks for the help!
