Pivot table - access to excel

Hi,



So I kind of solved my problems from the previous thread. only the following, probably very simple, issue left.

see the attached 3 images which display what my table looks like in access in datasheet view and pivot table view, and in excel pivot view. The Access pivot table view is perfect for what I need but when I export it to excel, see the result. I get all numbers!

How can I view this table in excel pivot exactly as it is in access pivot?

Are you exporting the underlying query and then running the pivot in Excel or are you exporting the pivot directly to Excel. If the latter, then try the former.

WOW ! I have the exact same problem. How did you solve it? I don't want the user to have to do anything other than just click ona button. I created a macro to run the query but I don't know how to export the results in excel-pivot table format.
