    Connect Foxpro table in access

I'm trying to connect Foxpro table ( .dbf) into Access as a link table.
I've done it many times before but this time it doesn't seem to work , and I don't know why.

You will see on the first printscreen of the attachment, When I configure my connection, I choose the directory of the table and I see all of them including dp.dbf and dpadd.dbf. Then when I click OK twice and now I see the screen to actually link my table (2nd printscreen). The tables dp.dbf and dpadd.dbf do not show anymore.

I'm using access 2007 but I tried it with access 2003 and 2000
Foxpro driver used is VFPODBC.msi. All the dbf seems to be the same.

    What am I missing

I've tried exporting the .dbf file (dp.dbf and dpadd.dbf) using dataloader and i get the same problem . the files do not appear

It is probably due the nature of the .dbf files but I don't know what.
anyone that knows foxpro has any ideas

Do you have FoxPro to play with? Are these free tables or internal tables?

You would need to open the dbf in FoxPro to tell.

I don't have foxpro to play with.
If it helps I just was able to solve my problem with extra steps. I downloaded a software called CDBF - DBF viewer and editor. I open the file and resave it dbf format and now I can import it access.

It works but I don't know why it wasn't before and I have to do that extra steps if I can avoid that step

I'm not sure what is going on but any solution is better than none. Good job.
