Drop-down in subform allows changes but no new rows

For a project I've been working on I have created a form with a datasheet style subform. The subform is based on a query and has a field that is a drop-down, allowing me to choose a course for a student. It works great when changing courses for existing students, but will not allow me to choose new courses for a student and I can't figure out why. I do not receive an error when attempting to add a new row, it simply gives me a system beep without allowing me to add a choice to the row.

Does anyone have some ideas for why this might occur? I have uploaded a copy of the database here:

Any advice is greatly appreciated, and I'll gladly continue to return the favor here on the forums when there are SQL questions.

Edit: forgot to mention before, the form is the Course Choices subform of the Attendee Registration form

Meh, figured it out. The master form/child form wasn't linked properly! It's amateur hour over here, but I guess I am an amateur after all.
