    Question F11 Lockdown

Getting ready to distribute a DB. How can I put the F11 function on lockdown from the end users and how can I ensure I still have access to it?

Office button>>>Access Options>>Current Database>>Uncheck "Use Access Special Keys"

As far as you keeping access to F11 is to keep a backup of the database offline with the special keys still enabled.

are you talking about showing the db window? if you're distributing runtime apps instead of mdbs or accdbs, you don't have to do anything. the executables shut everything off.
