Angry Why are my queries doing the OPPOSITE of what I need them to do?!?

I'm working on a restaurant database. I am trying to answer the following questions:

    C) Which of the restaurants close at the latest time?
    D) Which of the restaurants open the earliest?
    E) Which of the restaurants are NOT located on North Broadway?

but Access is doing the exact opposite of what I need it to do. For C, I TRIED to use top-values, but no, it gave me the SMALLEST values.
For D, I don't even remember what I did, but again, I got the top values, not the smallest ones that I was wanting.
And on E, I did several things to it, but nothing had ANY effect whatsofuckingever.

I am about ready to throw my laptop out the window.

WHY IS IT DOING THIS TO ME?!?!?!?!?!?!?

    As answered elsewhere:

If the queries are doing the opposite of what you want, you likely have the sorting backwards. You want Descending instead of Ascending, or vice-versa.

    C) Which of the restaurants close at the latest time
    ?

Ummm, it would be helpful if you would post the SQL of the query so we could see what you have tried. (I don't have A2K7)

Would you please let me know when you are going to do this and you address? I will be waiting outside your window.

After I get you laptop and see you database and queries, maybe I can help you out.
