    Eliminate extra background

    Hello,

We use Access to track our nonconforming material.

I would like to eliminate the extra blue background from the attached photo. The area where I have a red x and line. I can do it on any other Access db I have, just not this one. Is there a setting I am missing?

I looks to me like you are using tabbed forms; can you confirm? If so, that is something I've never seen with tabbed forms. They usually cover the whole db window.

Yes, it is tabbed documents. The OP has drawn a purple box around the entire form.
Changing options to overlapping windows will fix it.

Switching to overlapping windows won't look any different IMO seeing as how that resembles overlapping windows anyway. Tabbed forms don't do this as a rule so there is something odd. Would be interesting to also know if it's just this one form or all of them.

I actually replicated the problem. The form appears to be an overlapping window because of the box drawn around it, but it actually is tabbed (Read post #3).
Changing to overlapping windows fixed the color problem in my test.

    Hello,

Yes, they are tabbed. I'm not sure everyone that works here will be able to handle overlapping. I will just leave it the way it is, so I don't confuse anyone.

Thank you everyone for the help.

    Have a great day!
