    SQL Server Migration

Have you migrated access tables to sql server while leaving the front end on access? I think I have done it once some time ago but am having trouble. I get a connection error message in SSMA that it can't connect to sql server. I may have a firewall issue. Any idea on how to resolve this? Thanks.

What is the exact error message, and at what point is it generated?

Thank you for your help. I had tried the steps but was getting a different error message. I noticed the error message was about the Trust Certificate and when I then clicked the option to Trust the certificate it worked. Now that it seems to have migrated, I am trying to link the tables from access.
