    getting value of a field from a record found by using FindFirst

    How do I get the value of a field from a record found by using FindFirst?
    I wish to get the field value to compare it with a known value

    Do you mean field of a recordset?

    Like: rs!fieldname

    don’t you mean

    rs!fieldname

    or

    rs(“fieldname”)

    i’m on my phone and unfortunately they are the only quote’s available
