    Post Access Insert statement

    Appreciate anyone explaining to me what this statement does, in particular the IN 'K:.... part



    INSERT INTO VLOvertimeWorked ( COSTCENTRE, GEOGRAPHY, LABOURCODE, EMP_ID, NAME, Hours, Days, PeriodFrom, PeriodTo ) IN 'K:\Payroll\PayrollProcesses\ExportedReports\83\HR Data\HRAbsenteeismTemp.mdb'

    The IN 'K...' is specifying file with table to receive data. What you show is only half of an INSERT action.

    This is used to save data out to another Access file, not the db code is located in.
