See this link for the different file extension options- which will determine mode

    ChatGPT gives wrong solution

    Update to post #15

    ChatGPT is wrong (imagine that!)

My testing on Windows 11, Access 2021 using CurrentProject.FileFormat returned a "12" which is Microsoft Access 2007 format.

So, I'm still looking for a way to see with VBA if Runtime is being used.

Also, it might be nice if there is a list of other commands that don't work in Runtime.

    see code here

I don't know of such a list but basically runtime does not have a navigation window, does not use right click menus and has a very limited ribbon. So if it is not on the ribbon it won't be available.

You can create your own navigation window, right click menus and ribbons of course.

@CJ_London, post #18 Perfect! After a long legal discussion, I was about to go searching for the solution. You definitely know how to get to the answers, even better than ChatGPT! I'm still learning how to properly ask the questions in Access vernacular. Thanks again.

And, I better go check all my right click code is working.

    Cheers

i'm referring to the default right click menus. If you have your own they should be OK - but testing is good
