Unable to upload files in Chrome

    Hi everyone,

    This just happened recently.

I am now unable to upload any file using Chrome. I now have to open Firefox and and use that.

My version is Version 116.0.5845.141 (Official Build) (64-bit)

If anyone else has the same version, are they able to upload, as Chrome is up to date.

    TIA

    Thanks Moke.

Wonder what the difference might be.
I have reported it to Google, but have no clue as to whether they will look at it.

    Might try resetiing some settings.

Hmm, clearing cache seems to have fixed it.

    Thanks again Moke.

Happening again, even with the latest version Version 119.0.6045.160 (Official Build) (64-bit)
However I seemed to recall that I had asked this before, so finding this thread led me to a possible solution that I can try again. :-)

Nope, no longer working, even after clearing cache.

I have struggled with this randomly on Chrome for a long time.
I haven't tried it since switching to DuckDuckGo browser.

Although - @Gasman you do appear to have attached a file ?

Yes, just noticed that. I will try another. It is not giving me any indication that it has uploaded the file.
No idea as to how that got there, unless it was when I dragged an already uploaded file to the bottom section of the window.
I can upload with Firefox though, just a PITA having to use another browser.
