converting from access 2009 to office 365 with a lot of BASIC coding. Getting errors

    Hi

I gave an application with a lot of Basic code. Much of it has direct file manipulation reading, creating, updating records. I'm moving from 2009 version to Office 365 and getting errors when opening forms getting errors in the compile. It seems like I need to attach some librarys that contain the code I need. I have no idea where to start? What librarys I need and how to attach to them? I've attached two exanples of the errors I'm getting. Any help would be very appreciated! Thanks in advance.

What line is highlighted after you hit OK? I would disambiguate the Database and Recordset declarations as either DAO or ADO. In the VBA editor, choose Tools/References. For DAO you need the "MS Office 16 Access database engine..." selected, for ADO "MS ActiveX Data Objects 2.1 Library".

those pics don't show which lines were highlighted when you got the error message. In VB editor, click Tools>References on the menubar and look at the list of project references to see which ones are marked as missing.

In the first example the word "Format" was highlighted. In the second example the phrase "Dim MYDB as Database" was highlighted.

I've tried a few things but the references doesn't make much sense to me. As I understand what I'm seeing, is that the checked references refer to the ones that are currently active. I did try adding the ones recommended in a prior reply, with no change in outcome. Is there a way of knowing which ones need to be checked based on the coding or a list of which things are in a each reference? Otherwise it's blindly looking foe a needle in a haystack.
