Reports stop working when edited in 64 bit microsoft 365

Within the last month I converted all of my access (accdb) databases to 64 bit. I now have the issue where if I edit a report (just changing the spelling of a label will do it) the report will no longer open. If I copy the database to a computer that is still running 32 bit access the report can be edited and runs normally. If I export the edited report from the 32 bit computer to the 64 bit computer the report then runs fine there as well.

What gives with the 64 bit version of Microsoft 365 that was installed after all vestiges of 32 bit office, Microsoft 365 were deleted. Is this a bug?

Doing an installation repair did not fix the issue. I finally de compiled the database and then recompiled and now it is working properly
