    Moving to next previous

I should know this but... there's 2 bound textboxes on my form and I want to move to the next/previous record from 2 command buttons.
But only change either textbox, not both together. And I'm stumped ... I thought it was DoCmd.Move acNext or similar but no joy with that.

What do you mean by "only change either textbox, not both together"? Move to another record, that record's data will display in bound controls.

Use DoCmd.GoToRecord to move next/previous record on form. Review https://www.access-programmers.co.uk...revious.56424/

Yes, I realised I'd need unbound controls.

Might help to know what it is you are doing/want. Perhaps you need 3 or 4 controls: 2 visible, 1 or 2 not, 1 or 2 not bound or some similar setup.
I've never wanted to move back and forth in records on a form and see info that's not related to the current record so it's a bit of a mystery.

I have it working, it's helper form to update data which may (now) be in an adjacent record.
Yes, used something similar to what you describe.
    Thanks.
