    SECURITY RISK Microsoft has blocked macros from running because the source of this file is untrussed

    Dear Friends,

    I have a MS Access – Database for Customer Order Management!

    When the database saved in Hard Drive, It is functioning properly…

    The same file, when I transfer it to Network Share Folder; It is giving below error and I am unable to use my Macros etc.,

    SECURITY RISK Microsoft has blocked macros from running because the source of this file is untrussed

    Could you please suggest, how to come out of this issue?

    You will have set the folder on your computer where your app is located to be trusted. You need to do the same for the folder on your network.

    file>options>trust centre>trusted locations

    Note that if this is for others to use as well, then you are making a big mistake. The database should be split anyway, with the back end (tables only) on your shared folder and each user has their own copy of the front end (forms/reports/queries/code) on their own machine. If you don't have this setup correctly you create a strong risk of corruption with the risk of losing everything. If set up correctly there is no need to trust the network folder.
