    Help sought with Regular Expression

    .Pattern = "^[A-Z|b]?\d+\. .*:[0-5]\d$"

    I'm having trouble breaking it down to debug each part.

    This Passes - "b1. N.W.O. (Al Jourgensen/Paul Barker) 4:40"
    But this fails - "b1. N.W.O. (Album Edit) (Al Jourgensen/Paul Barker) 4:40"

    I'm pretty sure it's because of the extra bracketed text before the first 2 space delimiter.
    But I've been unsuccessful editing the pattern, or making a new one.

    I tested your pattern and both strings are matched.

    Yes, thanks @June you're quite right. There was a rogue char in my string.
