I have a simple list form with 4 fields: invoice no., invoice date, customer & invoice amount.
When I click any fields in the list, how to change its background color to red?
thanks.

I'm a beginner too but in Design or Layout View, select the field and in Format you will find the option to Fill.
sorry. i don't express my question well.
i mean in running the list form, i click a field "Invoice No." in that list form, its background changes to red.
Then if i click another field "Customer", the "Customer" background changes to red, the "Invoice No." changes back to white.
thanks
Use Conditional Formatting. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...%20See%20More.
Use "Field Has Focus" rule.
However, it is available only for textboxes and comboboxes.

While interesting, I don't think that video addresses the OP's question. By "list form" I think they mean a datasheet or continuous form. And the "fields" are controls on form.
