    multi select

    just a quick question guys


    can you multi select check boxes in access?
    i been trying to do it but cannot seem to.

    What did you try? Define what you mean by 'multi-select'. What exactly do you want to happen?

    as like in the pic
    i want to tick a few 100 boxes, i tried 1- shift, another, which multiple selects them, but i cant seem to tick them

    No, it can be done but via VBA code.

    Can execute an UPDATE action SQL. Either a query object or VBA code.

    It's a basic UPDATE action. Use Access query designer.

    UPDATE table SET Is_Active = True;

    Add filter criteria with WHERE clause if you want to specify records to edit.
