Have table read an outside excel sheet and upload data

I know nothing about coding but I know this can be done.

I have a table "Tbl_Bldg_List". I want the table to be populated and updated by reading an Excel sheet outside the system. I currently have the excel sheet as a link but this is causing problems in my queries.

Can you help me to code this? What information do you need?

Why the linked excel does not work?
Might help to explain what your problems are?

Maybe it is better to solve the problems with the queries. Keeping the table up to date will be complecated (adding, deleting, updating records). By the way, there is no guarantee that the queries will work in that case.
