    Subform re-painting twice on form from record to record?

    Views: 6 Size: 1.55 MB">Test Business.zip

    HI all,
    Attached is db. Opens to frmBusiness where sub form is on
    I am having an issue with my subform re-painting or flickering twice on going from record to record? Is there a fix for this?
    Thanks
    Dave

    Don't see why you need a refresh when the procedure called before it doesn't seem to do anything to the recordset that's already loaded. The fix is

    Private Sub Form_Current()
    Call subCommon_Form_Current(Me.Form)
    'Me.Refresh

    you do a lot of record work in the ON CURRENT event. (change of record)
    I have NEVER needed to use CLONE in any app. This takes memory.
    Is it really needed? I'd loose it and I bet the flicker will vanish.

    Thank you,
    That seemed to do the trick. I had it in there as the Entity Type was not refreshing to begin with but took it out and it works just fine so thank you!
